Self-made energy bars

Off to the kitchen

b2r

Anyone who likes to do endurance training can get a lot of energy from power bars. Instead of buying the bars, you can just make them yourself. Ideally suited for before, during or after the B2Run.

Ingredients
100 grams of oats
150 grams of wholemeal flour
50 grams of butter
50 millilitres of water
100 grams of coconut flakes
100 grams of honey
As necessary: 30 grams of raisins

Preparation
Melt the butter and mix with oatmeal, wholemeal flour and water. Add coconut flakes and honey. Then season with sesame. If you feel like it, you can add raisins to the power bar. Then spread the mixture in a greased baking tin and bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius. Finally cut the bars into shape. Voilà, the power food is ready!
